James Poole is the owner of Poole's Pine Ridge Kennel.  James has been a hunter for over thirty years.  An avid racoon hunter in the past, James raised primarily coon hunting hounds (although, he maintained a few beagles for the occasional rabbit hunt).  PPR Kennel now focuses on breeding, raising, and training Beagles.

Contact Information

Use the following methods to contact us.  Our primary method of contact is telephone, but feel free to drop us an email if you prefer.  We are located outside Mount Airy, NC, which is commonly known as the basis for Mayberry in the Andy Griffith Show.  A visit to Mount Airy will quickly let you know why it is known as a city trying to imitate an imitation of itself.  If you are in the area, make sure to check out the original Mayberry and stop by and see James and his Beagles.
